After revising our adhesive protocols (shifting several treatments from BEVA 371 to Paraloid B-72 at 20% w/v), I’m looking for short courses that go deep on long-term stability: microfade testing, accelerated aging design, and documenting reversibility. Any recent offerings you have found rigorous from ICCROM, FAIC, CCI, or university labs, preferably 2–3 days in late spring?
For microfade testing, check CCI’s late-spring listings; look for 2–3 day options — slots fill fast: https://www.canada.ca/en/conservation-institute.html.
Building on @egray88, keep an eye on AIC’s pre-session workshops around the Annual Meeting — FAIC posts them here: Continuing Education - American Institute for Conservation; they’re usually 1–2 days, but you can stack two to hit your 2–3 day window, and they often pair microfade demos with accelerated aging design plus a quick reversibility write-up lab (like speed dating for test protocols). Would North America only work, or could you swing ICCROM if the timing lines up?
